PLAST09 : BarcoVision introduces EnergyMaster to monitor energy consumption in the Italian plastic industry.

During the PLAST09 fair in Milano, taking place 24th through 28th of March, Belgian Monitoring Systems presents its new system EnergyMaster : system to monitor energy consumption

Today it is not only necessary to optimise productivity and quality. Optimisation of consumption of energy is of equal importance in the plastics industry because uncontrolled energy consumption can make the production improfitable. With constantly rising energy prices and higher restrictions on CO2 emmissions, mastering energy consumption has become an important successfactor in the running of a business.

In view of this, BarcoVision developped EnergyMaster as a diagnostic tool which measures consumption in real time resulting in a better knowledge of energy demands in the company.

Based on the principle of surveillance and instrumentation of energy consumption points EnergyMaster has the ability to collect, interprete and issue reports on the usage of energy. As a consequence, the user can set realistic goals and prioritise points at which optimisation is needed.
