BMSvision at ITMA Asia 2012 (12-16 June 2012)
BMSvision will exhibit at ITMA Asia 2012 in Shanghai in the main weaving Hall E4 on stand E4-C28.BMSvision will show the latest version of its Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for weaving, knitting, tufting and spinning, all based on wireless data collection technology. All of these systems include software modules for real time machine monitoring, production scheduling, fabric inspection, yarn inventory management and traceability. A starter package, WeaveMaster Easy, is now also available as a low cost entry level system with extension possibilities towards a full blown MES system. A new version of the report generator now allows combination of real time data and history information in the same report.
BMSvision will also present its EnergyMaster system for monitoring the energy consumptions in the plant and reporting of the CO2 footprint of the company. Energy has become a very important cost element in the textile manufacturing process. Following the principle of Monitoring & Targeting (M&T), EnergyMaster maps the different energy consumptions (electricity, water, gas, compressed air, steam,…) for further analysis and optimization. The integration of these energy parameters with other MES applications, such as monitoring of the spinning, weaving and finishing operations, provides a perfect insight in the relation between energy consumption and production and allows quick identification of energy saving potentials.
A new module “Management dashboard” allows the combined presentation of data available in different software modules into one single web based report. With this tool, the user can create his own dashboard showing all important KPIs at a glance. As such, the manager can have all important information regarding efficiencies, quality and energy consumption displayed in real time on one single screen. Zooming functions allow him to dig into any further detail if required.
The latest version of the Cyclops automatic on loom fabric inspection system has now also been optimized for the inspection of carbon, Kevlar and glass fabrics. BMSvision also launches a brand new sensor for air jet weaving looms: the Kinky Filling Detector (KFD). This detector, a combination of laser and camera technology, continuously checks the fabric for the presence of kinky fillings (loops) and can stop the loom in case of excessive occurrence of these defects within a certain length of the fabric.
Also on display will be BMSvision sensors and systems for spinning: BarcoProfile for on line quality monitoring on texturizing machines, OptiTwist real time monitoring system for twist level on twisters and direct cabling machines and the OptiSpin sensor for spindle per spindle monitoring on ring frames. All these sensors can be connected to the SpinMaster MES system.
